Budget Airlines (Not arriving or departing the US)

Budget airlines all over the world have taken flight costs to a new all time low, in many cases it is cheaper to fly then take a train, bus, or drive to a destination.  Skyscanner is basically an airline search engine for Europe that allows you to search most budget airlines all at once so you may get the cheapest price.

* A word of caution to budget airline users.  The costs are cheap for a reason, you can not take as much weight with you (see individual airline guidelines), there is no free food or drinks on board, and the flight may be cancelled at any time without the airline having to put you up in a hotel or make other arrangements for you.  They typically will try to get you on another flight as soon as possible but that might not be until the next day.  Also make sure to take note of what airport the airline operates out of because it could be up to an hour outside of a major city. (ex. Paris Beauvais Airport is over an hour outside of Paris and you will need to take a bus their costing between $15- $20 per person)

These two sites provide a list of budget airline options that you may use to get to your final destination.  All you have to do is punch in a departure and arrival city, the program then configures every available route and budget airline that services your itinerary.  These sites are useful because they may suggest airlines that are not scanned in the search by Skyscanner.
